Deutschnamesisch
„Deutschnamesisch“ ist eine fotografische Spurensuche nach Identität, Erinnerung und Zugehörigkeit. In diesem fortlaufenden Projekt porträtiere ich Viet-Deutsche aus der ersten, zweiten und dritten Generation - zwischen kollektiver Geschichte und individueller Gegenwart. In einer Bildsprache, die Nähe zulässt, dokumentiere ich nicht nur Gesichter, sondern Haltungen, Gesten, Spuren von Migration, Widerstand und Selbstbehauptung.
Deutschnamesisch ist ein Langzeitprojekt über Vietnames:innen in Deutschland. Es umfasst Portraits von Menschen aus verschiedenen Generationen, Orten und Lebensrealitäten. Die Serie reflektiert Themen wie Migration, intergenerationale Erinnerung, kulturelle Selbstverortung und Repräsentation. Diese Fotoreihe ist keine geschlossene Serie - es ist ein fortlaufendes Archiv einer vielstimmigen postmigrantischen Realität.

“Deutschnamesisch” is a photographic search for traces of identity, memory, and belonging. In this ongoing project, Fungi portrays Vietnamese-Germans of the first, second, and third generation - situated between collective history and individual present. With a visual language that allows for closeness, she documents not only faces but also postures, gestures, and the marks of migration, resistance, and self-assertion.
“Deutschnamesisch” is a long-term project about Vietnamese people in Germany. It includes portraits of individuals from different generations, places, and lived realities. The series reflects themes such as migration, intergenerational memory, cultural self-positioning, and representation.
This body of work is not a closed series - it is a continuously growing archive of a multi-voiced post-migrant reality.

“Deutschnamesisch” là hành trình nhiếp ảnh đi tìm dấu vết của bản sắc, ký ức và sự thuộc về. Trong dự án kéo dài này, Fungi chụp chân dung những người Việt-Đức thuộc thế hệ thứ nhất, thứ hai và thứ ba - giữa lịch sử tập thể và hiện tại cá nhân. Với một ngôn ngữ hình ảnh cho phép sự gần gũi, Fungi không chỉ ghi lại gương mặt mà còn là tư thế, cử chỉ, dấu vết của di cư, sự kháng cự và khả năng tự khẳng định.
“Deutschnamesisch” là một dự án lâu dài về người Việt ở Đức. Nó bao gồm chân dung của những người đến từ nhiều thế hệ, vùng miền và hoàn cảnh sống khác nhau. Loạt ảnh phản ánh các chủ đề như di cư, ký ức liên thế hệ, định vị văn hoá và vấn đề đại diện.
Đây không phải là một series khép lại - mà là một kho lưu trữ đang tiếp tục mở rộng của một thực tại hậu di cư đa giọng.

Fungi Phuong Tran Minh ist eine in Hanoi geborene und in Deutschland aufgewachsene visuelle und performende Künstlerin, Kampfsportlerin und Poetin. Sie stellt international Fotografien zusammen mit ihren Gedichten aus. In ihren Performances integriert sie Elemente aus dem Kampfsport. In jeglichen Genres, die sie bedient, zeigt sich eine poetische Sprache, die ein Stärke und Fragilität zugleich ausdrückt.

Fungi Phuong Tran Minh is a visual and performance artist, martial artist, and poet, born in Hanoi and raised in Germany. She exhibits her photography together with her poems internationally. In her performances, she incorporates elements from martial arts. Across all the genres she works in, her artistic language remains poetic - expressing both strength and fragility at the same time.

Trần Minh Phương Fungi là một nghệ sĩ thị giác và trình diễn, võ sĩ và nhà thơ, sinh ở Hà Nội và lớn lên ở Đức. Cô trưng bày ảnh cùng thơ của mình tại nhiều triển lãm quốc tế. Trong các buổi trình diễn, cô kết hợp những yếu tố từ võ thuật. Dù ở thể loại nào, ngôn ngữ nghệ thuật của Fungi luôn mang nét thi ca, vừa mạnh mẽ vừa mong manh.
